Jonbu the baker

More pictures still to come from my November trip. Just been sleeping a lot more lately. And in between I upgraded to OS X Leopard. This should go into another post but, currently DoubleCommand doesn’t work with Leopard. Neither does some of Logitech’s control software.

I’ve traveled to Taiwan and Japan enough times now that it’s not a “getaway” anymore. Now when I go there it feels like I’ve always been there. Things are familiar, just like everyday life. It’s very pleasant and casual. Just like when you’re in a dream, you don’t feel like you’re dreaming. It’s only when you wake up that you realize how different things were in the dream.

I don’t know the places well but the food in Taiwan is awesome. Just the environment you eat it in is usually not so great.

I’m still in Taiwan. Had to call JAL to confirm my flight today.

More photos going into my flickr later when I get upload urge. It looks like I’ve gone over the free account limit of 200 pictures. Either that, or I have exactly 200 pictures in my flickr at the moment. Gonna get a proper account so i can add new sets.

At least until I get more pictures to post.
This flickr plugin does wonders. It encourages me to post photos I didn’t think of posting, and now I’m forced to write about them.

The two girls in the back are my cousins. They’re both adorable and both living the best times of their lives in Taiwan. Family is great, and it’s too bad that in this oversimplified world, Money is essentially the only thing stopping us from visiting each other more often.
In the front are the chestnuts. They’re adorable too. I can buy them here.
