Watched a few more movies lately..

I had to watch this even tho I know it’d be so-so. The whole movie is anchored on the performance of a little boy, and an animated dog. Some good moments. I think the highlight is the last 20mins, which made the movie better than so-so. I watched a bit in Cantonese without subtitles, and then realize that my understanding of the language, is quite bad..
Fargo
Another Coen Brothers’ movie. Same style as No Country for Old Men, just not as dark. Some scenes are funny and sad at the same time. I liked it.
The Painted Veil
It’s a semi-Chinese movie. I saw INSPECTOR WONG in there. Otherwise a slow and emotional film.
