I finished Silent Hill this weekend. I consider it an accomplishment, because it took maybe 4-5 sittings and I started watching maybe last Thursday. All that effort for a 2 hour movie. I think it’s gonna be hard to find people that sat through the whole thing.
Overall it’s a so-so movie, but it’s not at all like normal so-so movies. It’s got some awesome moments, plus some really crappy parts, all connected by lots of long boring scenes. And an ending that doesn’t satisfy.
I watched it for those awesome moments. Disco corpses are cool.
As far as movies based on video games go, it was pretty good. Has some cool creatures, and some freaky moments. I’m sure the game is better, though.
