Jonbu the baker

After finding out what the movie is really about - ie not so much the plot or the ending, but the characters and what each of them represent - I’ve gained new respect for No Country for Old Men. Thinking back, this movie is Amazing!

My policy of not reading anything about a movie before watching it failed me this time. Go read the “Themes and style” section of the Wikipedia Entry. The emphasis is on things that people usually don’t expect out of a movie nowadays. That’s my excuse for not picking it out when I watched it. And I don’t think there’ll be many movies like this in the near future.

Everything makes sense now, including that Best Picture win.
