What can you do with a MacBook Air?

MacBook Air

image:Apple Inc.

Love the black keyboard. Was hoping more for the comeback of the 12in PowerBook tho, the one with the keyboard touching the edge of the notebook.

Steve kept pointing to how thin the thinnest part is. I wonder if there’s actually any useful hardware in those thin thin parts of the laptop. I’d be happier if the whole thing had a smaller footprint. Imagine carrying a Trombone around. Some nice guy on the street comes and machine-press your Trombone into a flat piece of metal. You marvel at how thin it has gotten, but after thanking the guy and go on with your way, you realize it’s still hard to carry. It still doesn’t fit inside your backpack. Plus it doesn’t sound as nice anymore when you play it. That’s the MacBook Air. Except, it still looks awesome.

Another Aluminum iMac Post

Eye

In anticipation of MacWorld Expo 2008, I’ve decided to take more iMac pictures for posting. I figure it’s going out of fashion soon. Better do it while it’s still the latest Mac. Oh no it’s not anymore. Technically the new PowerMac is. Oh well, that one’s too expensive for me to care.

It’s surprisingly (or not surprisingly) hard to find any design features to take pictures of. Because there is none. Minimalistic. Just like that last one-word sentence. So there’re only so few in my flickr.

I hope there are surprises at MacWorld, and not just all the likely rumours coming true.

on the subject of Movies on phones. Hear him out.

I recognize him as the director of Dune, which I haven’t yet to watch properly.

Crossing

Crossing into the new year.

Crossing

Kinda late for new year posts, but I’m always late. Was late this morning for a security meeting, where they went over things we can’t talk about.

2008. Beijing Olympics. MetalGear4. New President in USA. iPhone in Canada. Last year for Bill Gates at Microsoft. The Year is still young. Who knows what will happen.

Before I forget, I recommend Letters from Iwo Jima. An American-made war film but turned out surprisingly Japanese. I don’t like reading reviews before watching movies, other than an assurance that it’d be good. So.. it’s good.
