I finished playing “Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The”
After everyone has had a chance to say how good it is, it’s finally my turn.
It’s good. play it. It took quite many hours that I was planning to blog about it before finishing the game, but I finished it before getting around to writing. I clocked in a bit more than 40 hours, which means I missed about 30 hours worth of side quests (fishing.. bug catching..)?
Some thoughts and then that’s it:
- A lot of creativity went into the game. My favorite segment is the Ice Monster.
- The Midna sound reminds me of Windows booting up.
- Did Link ever said a word in this game? I think he borderline did.
- It felt like 2-3 Wii games folded into one. Good bang for your buck (not mine, I borrowed from Steve).
- How long will it take for another game to top this?
- A gamepad could’ve worked better for this game.
hahah. Leave it to John to say new stuff about a game that came out in … September? A while ago, anyways.
I can totally picture you loving the ice monster level, too…. making pumpkin soup.
I got stuck at one point in that level and it totally frustrated me, so that was NOT my favourite.
I liked the cave of ordeals. go finish that. it’s in the desert.
And I disagree. I think the wii controls added to it. If only for the aiming parts. And the dramatic parts, when you’re on some huge monster and you’ve gotta swing the wiimote to stab ur sword into it. Intense stuff.
The next wii zelda game will be so awesome. Even Phantom Hour Glass will kick ass. omg, comment longer than post!
I just tried and *failed* that cave of ordeal. Got pretty far too.. didn’t bring enough energy drinks. Now I’ll have to start over again.
At least now I know where those funny laughing Fairies are tho. Was wondering why they didn’t put them in this game.
Ah the aiming parts I liked. just not the slashing parts. Sometimes I find Link doing things I didn’t want him to be doing. It’s not as precise as button presses.
