Jonbu the baker

i’m so slow

Blogging about Blogging

I set up a blog and blog about setting it up. It’s a self-fulfilling cycle, and I think that’s how economy works too.

Let’s see, what’s new since Hello World:

There’s now *one* picture on the main page (other than the banner). Will need to upload more pics to my flickr so that picture gets updated.

I’ve decided to keep this theme for a while. Because I don’t have a lot of content, and If I put sidebars up it’ll seem empty anyways.

Threaded comments, clickable smileys, feedburner feed (even tho it doesn’t look it), favicon..

And my favorite addition: random banner pictures! I made a few (i.e. 3) banners out of pictures from the last trip, and they’re randomly taking turns. So every time you come, you’re seeing snippets of Tokyo (and 66% chance that you’ll see something different next time!) Will see if i make more later.
Firefox doesn’t reload all the time tho, even if you tell it to. So it’s rotating in Seasons-changing-speed, and not Jonbu-changes-his-decision-speed. Which is fine by me. I like seasons.
If you want to see them all, and don’t want to wait for seasons to change, and don’t want to do it the url way - forced refresh (Ctrl-F5, or Cmd-[click refresh]) should work.

You are pretty fast actually.
Your site is nearly as good as mine, but your smileys are ugly.

I was looking for extra smilies but convinced myself that these are good enough.
Now I know I was wrong

(and i see you also found a flaw in the clicking code)
