New Year Packet
Parents sent us these novel Tw items just in time for Chinese new year..
So full and tired so I got nothing much to write about except to show off some pics. The sony is so practical that photoshop is pointless.
Among other things..

Chinese gold nugget. They buried this deep in the box.

With sweet ricecake inside. Tw ppl not so big on packaging.

“Tuna in oil” Very hard to find around here. Always in water, and not nearly half as good as this.

Chinese sour spicy soup mix. Readily availabe at any T&T.

Special “Chinese Spegatti Sauce”. I’ve never tried this in my life. (Who can tell what the red box behind it is?)

“Richin Pure Creamy Butter”. Never seen this before either. It came in a sealed can, much like Spam. If they spent money to send this over, it must be special.
Finally, Season greetings:
Out with the old, In with the new everyone!
Hey, you know, they changed the recipe in the sour and spicy soup (for both of their flavors). Last time I threw up so hard after eating this new soup mix with seven buns.
Also, the stuff in the care package does seem worth shipping, especially the tuna in oil!
I am very interested in canned butter from taiwan. The cow looks so regal and honest, it must be good.
please publish a detailed review of the tasting…
Wow, you don’t gotta eat the tuna until 2008. That’s like, 3 more new years later.
Speaking of tuna in OIL, when my mom came back from Taiwan just a few weeks ago, she also brought back something “in oil”… I think it was sardines or something… oh no, wait, I think it was “EEL” in oil. That was delicious too. Now I know they are actually “rare” here. No wonder she brought it back.
I don’t think it’s the new recipe’s fault tho…
The packaging doesn’t look taiwanese at all. The cow may be european.
The butter seems to have more of a milky taste to it. Not sure about the “creamy” part. It behaves like regular butter. Not bad.
yup, lots of tuna and lots of years to finish them.
can’t think of any other way to eat them other than making sandwiches with japanese mayo. yum.
