Today i woke up early to check up on that dell deal. 256 sd for 28. is it cheap? i don’t even have anything that’ll take an sd.
at breakfast I opened the milk cap, poured the cereal, and closed the cap. Just before I started eating, i noticed my bowl is still dry. im definitely not awake yet.

Not for auction. My sister asked me “You’re selling it?” after my brother asked “You’re selling it?”
no.

So after the pentax brochure reminded us of our old family treasure, I got a set of slr stuff to play with from my dad. its the Canon A-1. he’s got a telephoto, wide, and extra wide, plus a 2x converter, + flash and trigger. it’s been so well hidden in my house, attic style. it even came with a roll of film that expires in 1993.

it’s manual focus! each picture will take a few minutes of jony-tweaking, and i won’t know if its gonna be a goof till months later.

now, what’s there to take pics of?

Having something to study is better than having nothing to do. It’s so cold out that i don’t feel like going anywhere, not that there’s many places to go to. Nothing to buy around here and nothing to work on. Can’t even download much because Shaw is lonely and likes to call people.

My two Sims died today. One of them lit the stove on fire, and both of them started panicking. I tried to get them to extinguish it, or call the fire department, but they were too overwhelmed. One after another they burnt into ashes, and the house is again available for sale. They’re both Libra. I wonder if that has got anything to do with it.

Pentax sent me some *ist D brochures. It looked nice. Over lunch my dad looked at it:

“How much do these things cost nowadays?”
“About $1000.”
“A Thousand ?!?! A digital should cost less right? I mean they’re all just chips and no film mechanism.”

…

We have an old Canon lying around. Maybe I should play with it.

The girl on MSN Space looks familiar. I think they might have used her on the windows xp homepage or something. I wonder if it’s any good.

It’s a good day to end my exams. You walk out and see the sunshine + almost empty UBC. nice nice. Should’ve brought my camera cuz i won’t go there as often anymore.

Can’t feel closure until they approve my graduation, so I’m not as jumpy as i should be.
