i’m so slow

Hero is finally showing in North American theaters now after two years. I watched it again and had to notice the pretty colors in the movie. The colors are so intense that I have to wonder if Christopher Doyle is that brilliant with his color filters/ cinematographic techniques, or they just spray painted everything to the color they want (cuz, well, you know, they spray painted the grass with green for the IOC).

In spirit of making my blog colorful:

“Red, stands for passion.”

“Yellow, stands for mellow.”

“White, stands for the truth.”

“Green, stands for.. environmental.”

“Blue, stands for coldness.”

haHa, it’s amusing to see Tony Leung with a mustache. (ooh, can’t wait to see 2046)

I just saw it last Friday. My husband and I loved it, we bought the soundtrack that night. The next day we saw it again.

They did colour-sprayed their props.

(I was once critized for not using the “u”, in “colour”.)

my favorite scene has got to be the old calligraphy master writing in the rain of arrows.

putting belief infront of life. powerful stuff.

somehow color and colour just sounds different in my mind. one uses more hard twisting tongue.

I liked so many scenes, I don’t know if I can name just one.
