Here’s a nice link to an article I saw on the Best Page in the Universe titled: Garfield Sucks

If you’ve never been to that website before, give it a shot. It’s mean and funny, just like my old Japanese teacher in highschool. I’ve heard stories of her hitting students on the head, and throwing backpacks out the window. And this is West Coast Canada we’re talking about here.

That picture was taken at a Watson’s in Taiwan. Watson’s as in “Wow, so many Watson’s in HK.”

I’m not certain but I think there were about 3 Watson’s on that street.

I never quite knew what to think of Watson’s when I was a kid. It didn’t feel Japanese like the 7-11s and OK’s and Familymarts that we have. It didn’t feel Taiwanese like everything else in Taiwan.
Watson’s did always have lots of Garfields in store, even back then. I remember getting a garfield there with a basketball sewed onto his arm, wearing a red shirt with the number 5 written on it.
No, I didn’t get any of these $199 Garfields. My suitcase was already full before I landed in Taiwan.

IT was a mistake to have tea so late in the evening. Now I can’t sleep.

So my sleep pattern goes:

1. Fall asleep 4pm in the afternoon, thinking it’s just a small nap, gets waken up at 11pm for food.
2. Goes back to sleep at 1 or 2am, and try to stay normal, and wake up at 10am.

This morning I woke up at 4am, which doesn’t really make any sense. Seems like my jet-lag is getting worse. Maybe what I need is a good drink.

Been working on this drawing for a bit. Felt like it’s going nowhere, so might as well finish up and start a new one. Kept feeling something is missing. Kept adding, yet it doesnt feel any “more”.

I name it “Pause”.

There’s so many things happening around and behind us all the time. We either don’t know, or simply don’t care.
And there’s too many times that we just disregard the events or things that we do encounter.

The Dog stops and smells the flower. (I don’t know. this theme is getting too cliche.)

Replace “us” and “we” with “jon”. Or if you want, replace the Dog with Jon.

Woke up in the middle of the night (or, early morning) and can’t sleep. Supposed to have dinner with a bunch of friends to..night, but I have a feeling I’ll fall asleep at 4pm and miss the whole thing.

AIYO! JET LAG SO ANNOYING!

Hm, the sky is starting to get bright.
