I actually really enjoyed that movie. It's visually refreshing. I like the music too. Other than the crime theme it's quite different from IA. That "important scene" was cut in the version I saw as well. It was so disjoint and obvious that something important was missing. No wonder people consider it garbage, I can understand that.
