i’m so slow

Generally Speaking

My travel campanion shirley says I talked during my sleep.

According to her, I did it two of the nights I was in Hong Kong. I have my own rationalizations: the fatigue, stress, weird food I had one night. But all in all, I’m a little disturbed by my own behavior. This means from now on when I travel with someone, I have to worry about bothering them during sleep, or accidently saying something meaningful.

[researched on sleep-talking]

okay, so its mainly caused by stressed. No big deal then, stress can be managed. Hence the term “Stress Management”

must be the lack of hot baths.

now i gotta make this post related to the picture at the top…

One of my favorite japanese movie, “Ghost in the Shell”, was set in Hong Kong. I really would like to find it and watch it again. If you have access, give it a try. Superb art. Deep story. Some nudity, but that shouldn’t turn you away. The Director chose Hong Kong as the setting because if you were to place yourself in HK, you will see so much information being projected at you in so many different ways. It’s visual overstimulation.

Just like the signs in that picture.

Randomly Moody

right now im at a weird state. i feel like consuming (eating) something, but don’t know what i feel like. [had a piece of Glico Macadamia chotolate]

Maybe a drink will help.

The TV is dristracting me again with an intense musical game show hosted by the crazy lady. If you can sing a top karaoke ranked song perfectly without looking at the lyric, you win 2 million yen. Somebody actually won. The great thing about this show is there’s no dubbed performances.

Why aren’t I writing about my Hong Kong trip? I didn’t even follow up on my sun-rise post.
[opening spicy chips]

Just last week it felt like a totally different world when I stood in the mist of Hong Kong’s busy streets, looking up to the overwhelming amount of street signs and high-rise building, and now I’m sitting in my Anpachi dorm room, wrapping myself in sanyo’s Electric heated blanket.

[opening pack of Crunch]

Coming to Japan was a dream. Going to hong kong from japan was like dreaming in a dream. i didn’t really feel like leaving hong kong. I felt like I was being dragged away from that surreal city by the bounds of reality (my already-booked plane ticket). What comforts me is the fact that I’m not back to reality yet. I’m still in japan.

Yet waking up from that dream made me realize the inevitable awakening of this dream. [opening a pack of Oreo]

I lost my writing flow and went playing around to make my new user image. There are things in life that simply have no conclusion. Happy 2004.

Home sweet home

Oh wait,

I just got back from Hong Kong. A wonderful place, lots to write about. I will do that, tomorrow.

For today, just a quick picture and i will go sleep. The Dorm is sooo cooolddd~~

This is taken on the HK Star Ferry. I personally really do like the way some of the blurry pictures turn out. Look at it from a color and mood standpoint, it’s a great picture. I can feel myself rocking on the boat right now (Tho actually I think that’s from the turbulance and the beer from my flight).
